Curriculum
Our character lessons are taught using truths from the Bible.
In total, our curriculum is a five-year program teaching character-based lessons chronologically through the Bible. The lessons are designed for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. A sample of our first-year lessons starting in the book of Genesis include:
Orderliness
From the creation story in Genesis 1
Truthfulness
From the beginning of sin with Adam and Eve's fall
Obedience
From Noah and the flood
Faith
From the story of Abraham and Isaac
Peace
From the story of Joseph and his brothers
Forgiveness
From the story of Joseph and his brothers
At the conclusion of each lesson, we bring out the hope of salvation through Jesus Christ and how the lesson relates to that hope.
Prayer with the children, recitation of Bible verses, songs, and a short game time help reinforce each character lesson taught.
